Registration

Go to the Summer Programs or Academic Year web pages and choose your level and number of classes you wish to take. Find the appropriate Register Now button and click it. Fill out the form and press the Submit button. Pay immediately with PayPal or mail a check to Kanopy. Tuition is not refundable.

Payment Information

Registration and tuition payment for the Academic year (September-May) is due August 15.

Tuition for the Academic School Year is due in full on August 15, or you may set up payment plans as follows: you may set up 10 monthly automatic checks sent to us from your bank; have us charge your visa or master card monthly for 10 months through Paypal; or pre-date 10 checks to be deposited by us monthly. These options are due by August 15; we will deposit/charge you between the 1st and 15th of the month August-May.

If you are new student midyear, you may pay only for the time left in the school year.

If you are unsure if you will commit to the entire school year, (Levels 1-6) you may pay per term.

Adults may choose to purchase a drop-in 10-class card.

Summer Programs (Dance Camp, Intensive, or General Session)

Registration opens March 1, and is on a first come first serve basis. There are no refunds.

School Closing due to Severe Weather

Kanopy will close for Kanopy School Classes when the Madison Public Schools close, have early release, or close their after school programs. Please email us at [email protected], check Madison School closings (channel 3000, wkow, nbc 15) if you are unsure, or call 608.255.2211.

Class Information and Attire

Missed classes may be made up in a class of equal or lower level. (Same term) Levels 3-6 students are expected to enroll for the entire academic year. Summer enrollment in Dance Camp or Dance Intensive is highly encouraged for proper training and development for Levels 4-6. . Levels 1-3 are encouraged to continue in the General Summer Session for continuity.

Attire: Leotard and footless/convertible tights or Unitard for most classes. Jazz pants may be worn for Jazz and hip-hop. Fitted body warmers or leg warmers only. Ballet & Jazz shoes as required. Hair secured off of face. No large jewelry. (For safety & instructional reasons).

Students should arrive on time, however we are aware from time to time that is impossible. Please quietly get ready, enter, and allow the teacher to direct you to join in, or quietly observe.
